Highlander Pride. It's at the heart of the Shorecrest Boosters.

Highlander pride runs so deep at Shorecrest High School, that even the adults catch the spirit.

For more than 10 years, Shorecrest Boosters have been empowering this spirit with contributions, in-kind support and good old-fashioned participation.

It’s what’s at the heart – the “cridhe” – of Shorecrest Boosters.

Boosters is open to all parents, staff and community members as a fast-track way to making new friends and directly supporting students’ activities. Since 2001, SC Boosters fun/fundraising events have generated more than $320,000 for nearly 40 clubs, teams, arts and academic groups.

During tough economic times, Boosters recognizes the even greater importance of supporting vital and diverse programs that keep kids connected to healthy activities. Like other public schools throughout Washington, Shorecrest’s extracurricular activities receive limited or no funding from the state or district.

That’s why the Boosters organizes a calendar of entertaining events that enhances Highlander spirit while raising that much-needed support. Boosters is all about the fun – but you don’t have to be an official member to roll dice at our fall Casino Night and Masquerade Auction, kick up your heels at winter’s Dueling Decades Dance, or run for fun at spring’s Scot Trot 5K with Dash-n-Dine pancake breakfast.

Festive pre-game barbecues at all home Shoreline Stadium football games and indoor winter sports concessions also provide support to each graduating class, and to the high-energy student groups that volunteer to make them successful.

Boosters invites you to join us, wear your Highlander heart – cridhe -- on your sleeve and find your own way to support the Scots.

  • All tax-deductible gifts to Shorecrest Boosters can be designated to the general fund or directly to a particular club, team or groups through our recognized non-profit organization.
  • More than 90 percent of membership and funds raised go to eligible student groups;
  • Boosters meet at 7 p.m. each second Wednesday of the month in the Shorecrest Library.
